Anger is an emotional state that varies from one person to another in terms of intensity. In other words, a negative reaction to stimulus is regarded as anger.
To manage anger, one has to first understand his/her self by analyzing his weaknesses and strength and the device means of taming one self in case faced with this disastrous emotion. Many people are in prisons and others regret there actions but with little or nothing to change because of the effects of anger.
However, here are some of the ways you can manage anger because there is a saying which goes that “If you can withstand one minute of anger, you can survive a thousand days of sorrow” based on the consequences the acts we commit when we are angry can cause. If you are to survive the a thousand days of sorrow try the following.
Try your level best including prayer because in our human fresh we are weak to pray the moment we get angry so that God can intervene and we do not do what might cause us regret. More to that, Try your level best to avoid people, things and places that make you angry and if you can not make sure you tame your self and the moment you feel you will go out of hand move away to avoid the repercussions that might follow.
In most cases anger is stirred after a verbal exchange of words between two people or a group of people and there after reaction comes next but try your level best to keep quiet and moment you do that some one after some time he will look a fool when is quarreling but no body is responding. However, when people are quarreling and one keeps quiet it annoys more the other party and would opt for a fight therefore it s better for you to move away and come back when he/she has stabilized.
Listen to music which is encouraging and draws you closer to God because during that time emotions supersede reasoning and people can do any thing there minds tells them no matter how illogical it might be. In this case Christian music is better.
Take a deep breath and If possible change of environment works better because you move away from what caused the anger instead to staying were you see the cause of the anger and many others which can fit our subjective nature. Try them you never know you can survive the a thousand days of sorrow we talked a bout caused by the effects of anger
