Google Chrome Not working With Facebook- Tips to Help You

There are many people who get problems with Facebook while using Google chrome. It is good to remember that Facebook is compatible with most of the major browsers including Google Chrome browser.

But there are many people who never the less get problems with using Facebook on Google Chrome. Some of the issues which people claim to experience while using Google Chrome and Facebook include the following

Failure to clear notifications when you click on them
The Failure to  chat
Some people say that they cannot link to most pictures
Others claim that Cannot update status
Some say that they Cannot respond to other peoples statuses

Some people even say that they can not use Facebook at all with Google Chrome

Well, the fact is that, there is generally no known problem when sing Facebook on Google Chrome. What normally causes such issues is mainly a matter of Google Chrome customization. You can follow the procedures below, i know they will help you to fix the Facebook and Google Chrome problem you might be having .

Method One

-Click on the tool icon on the top right side of google chrome
-Choose options
-Click the “Under the Hood tab”
-Click on “Clear browsing data”.. and Clear browsing data.
-On the bottom clic on “Reset to defaults.”
-Clic on “Close”
-Restart Google Chrome and log in to your facebook account.

If it does not work, then go to to the following

Method two

Use https with Facebook > https://www.facebook.com
it’s “https” instead of http alone. save the link on your bookmark then “enable https” when you are already log on – on facebook (you can find this at the home page, at the upper part.)

If the methods above do not work for you, this last one will surely help you

Method three

1. It may be that the Google Chrome version you’re using specifically is causing a problem. Check to see if other browsers or versions of Chrome function properly.

2. Clear your browser cache and cookies (Ref 1),

3. If that doesn’t solve the problem:
- Start | Run (or search for run if you’re using Vista/7)
- Type ‘cmd’ (without quotes) and hit enter
- Once the black box appears, enter ‘ipconfig /flushdns’ (without quotes) and hit enter
- Once that completes, enter ‘ipconfig /renew’ (without quotes) and hit enter
- Once that completes, close the window and retry.
4. If none of this helps, your computer may have been infected by a virus or malware; consider running a full security scan with reputable, fully updated antivirus software. If all else fails, it may not be the fault of your computer, but rather that Facebook itself is having issues.
  1. Perfect help, went through method one and two, almost gave up. Method three fixed it. Thank you so much for this valuable help, it’s hard to find. Not even the Google Chrome staff knew how to fix this like that. Thank you  .
