It took many people by surprise as the Internet giant Google decided to make page rank updates without announcing. Up to now, we still have some webmasters who have not yet realized the change in their ranking.
Well, i just noticed that one of the websites i like so much- A Uganda News Website which has been pagerank 2 for the past few months is now pagerank 3. You can also check your website from checkpagerank.net to see if your rankings in Google’s eye have changed. Well, another website which i normally use Uganda Forum ( A forum for all) has also climbed up in rankings.
Understanding of PageRank
PageRank is simply the value Google gives to a page in a given niche or keyword. We have a few websites with pagerank 10- Like Google and Facebook. The highest pagerank is 10 and the lowest is 0. Most new websites will show Pagerank N/A or pagerank not available until they attain pagerank 0.

A good page rank might led to increased traffic. Though increase Pagerank does not mean increase in website traffic. The two move together so often. It is right to say that websites with a higher page-rank normally get higher traffic. if you look at the web’s best sites, most of them have a high pagerank.
