No plugins match your request- WordPress Issue

There is a new problem with wordpress where users a shown a message that “No plugins match your request.” when they try to search for new plugins. This wordpress problems seems to have started today and many people who would like to upload plugins are virtually locked out.

However, this issue should stress you much, i have already viewed so many messages at the wordpress forums where people seem to suggest that it might be the end for them and plugin installed. Well, the problem seems to originate from the core WordPress plugin search feature which is powered bu WordPress.org, this means that there is nothing much you can do to save the situation.

Do not rush to your theme or styles to try to figure out the problem. WordPress must be working toe and nail to fix this “No plugins match your request”

At first, i had thought that may be the plugin i was looking for was already taken out of the directory, but after doing a search i discovered that the plugin was still there. I also found out that clicking on the other available options like popular, featured and newest plugins also bring the same results.

However, you can at the moment use the Upload feature which seems to be working or even install the new plugin from your server side as you wait for WordPress to fix the issue
