There is no doubt that Facebook is one of the websites which is actually hard to ignore. Many people learn to use Facebook before they learn to search. Facebook is now the beginning point  for many new internet users. I have to admit that I have been using facebook for many years now. I can boldly say say that I started using it in the first year of its launch.

But a time has come, and I feel that I should say good bye to facebook.  I have my reasons and hope to share some of them with you. I am just wondering how I am going to do it. It is not a matter of just waking up one day, and find your self above the facebook addiction. Many of us have built so many structures which we have to fore go if we decide to leave facebook.

I have more than 4000 friends and I really do  not want to leave them just like that.  Some of them have become a major part of my life that I feel life will turn unfair if I leave them just like that.  This is is my first major problem, what will I do to all my friends, what will I say to them.

I started some facebook pages which have now picked up, one of those pages have 100,000 likes . I I am the sole administrators of all those pages. I did not want to trust them to anyone. I have so many people who use them  and I feel like I will let them down when those pages are closed, the bad thing is that, I would not want to leave those pages to anyone because I am the only one who knows why I began them.

Facebook has become that one website where I hang up when I am tired, when I want to socialize and when I fell like meeting friends. There are many people who are always eager to chat with me the moment I log on to facebook.  This is one big reason why it is going to be a long hard journey for me.  However, I have have come to learn that success is a choice, I have made many brave decisions before which came out to be perfect. Leaving facebook for good is my next hard one.

Why I am tired
Facebook is making the world to believe that they can limit someone friends.  They can not allow me to have more than 5000 friends, where do they get that right. I might have so many un important friends on facebook yet those important ones who would like to add me, simply cant, just  I have too many friends.  It is not a sin to have many friends. No one should have the right to linit the number of people who like me.

I have discovered that I have been wasting a lot of time on facebook which in in the end turns out to be un productive.  Many people are now used to facebook yet they get nothing much from it. It is an application which was designed to keep people busy.

Facebook owners are getting a lot of money wen people use the program yet they can not allow me to put my own adverts. I have so many pages which are very popular yet I can not get any money out of it. Since, I can not eat from the facebook, I will look for other places where I can make money.

My privacy is at stake on facebook, I have discovered that most of my private information can be accessed by my friends. I also find many of pictures on other peoples pages just because they have tagged me. I hate that on facebook
